Dear Readers,
This is an open letter to you from Stewart, the Big Eye's creator since 1995. . .
In 1996 Gary Webb's employer, The San Jose Mercury News was one of the first newspapers to have a website. After reading his Dark Alliance I phoned Gary. When I said that I was putting his article on the World Wide Web he asked me, "What is that?".
I told Gary the same thing that I told Jeff Jacoby at the Boston Globe, that it would boost his career. The Big Eye published Jeff and he soon became "Young Journalist of the Year".
Gary's 1996 work launched a firestorm, essentially ending his career but he did not die due to it. He died in 2004 because of what that brilliant investigative reporter was then working on.MEDIA MUST BE CLEANED UP, especially television news. The WWW lost its "freedom of the press" years ago.
The internet, which promised a free and open communication medium for mankind, is now dying rapidly. Censorship and lies are now widespread. Advertising is now overwhelming.
Information is removed that exposes multi-billionaire central bankers, war criminals who control all three branches of the United States government and who are planning to control the entire world.
I hope that you find time to enjoy what remains of The Big Eye. I have enjoyed the effort and I hope that you benefit, even in a small way, from browsing these pages.
Sincerely yours, Stewart
